i agree ^^, people will see this and see the PT which doesnt go into much detail ie distance covered in runs and times they need to get.
also a better programme might show/track a person/s wishing to go into the mariens ie showing them PJFT preparing to go into PRMC then into 32 weeks, this way it show the long side of it not just snip bits of it which do not show the whole picture.

The second episode, minus all the crap, was only 20:45 long, and nearly 18 minutes of that was a philosophy lesson from Terry John.

What is ITV doing to the reputation of Marines?, the programme doesnt show anything that makes up a royal. Wheres all the military training or the phyz?. The programme just focus's on Terry, which it shouldn't be about.

I agree that it goes on about Terry too much but what that is showing is how hard it is on a person to become a commando. I feel sorry for that lad who had a back problem but there you go so is life.

i think the programme how too little detail, ie phys aspects seem very brief and dont realy show how hard it is nor what they need to achieve, ie how many press-ups,sit-ups or bleep test score they need to pass out of gym.
to be honest it makes you feeling stressed watching it sometimes, they should of done a longer version at the very least ie like bad lads army did where they have main 1 hour show then a "behind the tv" sort after show on ITV2, with more detail.

You've got to remember this programme is edited for the general public and they aren't too bothered about being informed how many press-ups or sit-ups they have to do, all the public want to see is people getting beasted, firing guns or anything else that's adrenaline fueled and exciting, because that is what gets ratings and people to watch it.

The programme appears to be lacking in stucture.
It should have shown PRMC and taken life thereafter.
Without that emphasis the public can not gauge just
how hard it is to get to RT. All that has been shown
so far is a series of vignettes on personal hygiene,
washing dhobi, ironing recruits getting dirty with the
mud run, some physical training and recruits in the
field going bang- bang. I hope that it improves and
after this last episode I felt that the production is
sadly lacking. So far out of ten I give it a four rating.

Disappointing

I was a little disappointed with the content too. The course is undoubtedly very demanding, but very little of the very trying demands have been shown. Yet the troop are now at week nine.
There was a previous programme called Commando screened about 10 years ago. It was far far better than the way this one is being shown.
I hope they show a lot more of what really goes on in the weeks that follow.
Cheers
