Who ever keeps saying commando course is the longest in the world (cant be bothered quoting) you are wrong, the marines dont even claim this, they say hardest on the western summet or anuva, because for all you know the taliban course could be 60 weeks.

I shall hit you with the book.
Recruits undergo the longest basic infantry course in NATO
YO training is the longest commisioned course in the world
Taken straight from the books (cp30 if you wanted to look).

Just to be annoying i re-searched a little and to become part of the taliban. You do a basic course which is 4 weeks of firing your ak47 hiding from satilites and plastic explosives training. And more to the point if it was a highly trained force why is it 'underground' .

This sentance seems to be of use to you.

Give a man a shovel and he will keep digging himself deeper.

[EDIT]

This of course is not true to all taliban and this is only for the 'troop'. Other 'units' are nothing more than people off the street who people will follow and other have been kidnapped and ordered to work or die. Your comparison to the taliban is truely stupid.

Erm, actually they do know. Commando training is officially the longest basic infantry training in the world. They're aren't idiots, i'm sure they're very aware of the length of training of other units. The head honchos say so down at CTC so what makes you the expert?

NO! I'm not saying that its not tough or whatever.
The marines say that it has the longest basic training throughout NATO and all the other Allied forces. This is not the WORLD mate.

It might well be the longest basic training in the world but it might not be, you dont know, I dont know.

So say the talibans was 60 weeks, the chances are the marine one is still tougher because of the equipment an the facilities etc etc avaliable.

I think they say something like its the longest in NATO etc and amongst the toughest in the world.

Either way, Its no easy feet doing the 30 weeks.

Nah bootneck, I used to do that, but now I have the oppotunity to start basic training on 28th April, I dont need to dream. As long as I prepare myself as much as I can, my dream will turn into a reality.

Your coming out with all this shit, because what I said is right.
I'm not knocking the marines, im just saying how they dont know thats its the longest.

Oh and be more pecific when you tell me to walk off a pier, cuz theres more than 1.

Initial interview for Royal:
Slightly tubby recruiting guy: "So how long is Marine training?"
Good looking young recruit (me): "32 weeks sir, longest basic training in NATO."
S.T.R.G: "The world. That's longest in the world."

He certainly told me!
