Oh Dear! And you're at Lympstone? Well you've got a lot to learn and it will be a VERY steep learning curve for you! :o

If you're keen on learning new languages you could buy 'Jackspeak The Pussers Rum Guide' - or you can learn as you go along. You'll be speaking the lingo soon enough.

Part of the Navy, so everything is sea related. Just imagine that, no matter where you are, you are on ship.

That's why you go to the 'galley' and not the canteen; why you have 'rig' and not clothes and why you 'run ashore' and don't go into town.
