for pressups you have to start on the floor and for every rep you have to get your chest down to the floor or its not counted, don't worry about your arms just do what you find comfortable, don't tuck your sides in just because the marines do itmatt_c wrote:Another thing (sorry about all the questions) were they strict on how press ups and sit ups are performed, did your elbows have to be tight to your sides when doing press ups and did your arms have to be crossed across your chest when performing sit ups, the marines have a PRMC which is apparently equally as gruelling and tough and they are apparently really particular on how press ups and sit ups should be performed
Cheers for all the previous posts they’ve cleared up a lot of bullshit

Sure it will be like the one you have to do at ADSC. Just talk about yourself, family, why you want to join etcadambatley wrote:What's the icebreaker?paraprep1 wrote: and then procceded with the icebreaker.

do you get a rest between the 3.5 mile and the 1.5 mile? or is it all in one?paraprep1 wrote:, 3.5 miles followed by 1.5 mile best effort
i think we got about 30 seconds rest, then straight into it, the best way to train for it i guess is running the last 1.5 miles as fast as you can on every run you do without rest.adambatley wrote:do you get a rest between the 3.5 mile and the 1.5 mile? or is it all in one?paraprep1 wrote:, 3.5 miles followed by 1.5 mile best effort

I presumed with having met the standards at ADSC then the time wouldn't be as crucial this time around, will give it my all both times either way.paraprep1 wrote:lol yes mate, thats sought of the whole point of it since it is a PFTadambatley wrote:so are you timed on the 1.5 mile?
