I think it's disgusting you should wear a T-shirt your dad got you!

If I saw a child bimbling around in the kids size RM shirt and he hadn't passed the Childrens Commando Course I'd KO him.

You obviously haven't seen the kids at my school, I swear some of the 9 year old girls would punch me in the face/balls (depending on how high they can reach) as soon as say hello.

Ok first of all I simply asked surfingdream why he was wearing it even though he wasn't a Marine, he answered me saying that his dad was a Bootneck and he gave him it, fair doo's, that's a legitimate answer.
Maybe I should have said that in my next replies but to be honest I didn't think to say it as I was replying specifically to guys who'd asked me something, hence the quotes.
As for everything else I have said it's just my opinion you can agree or disagree with it, doesn't really bother me either way.

Did you forget the part where you said to xcj:
Yeah there is a difference, no one's going to think you're a Premiership Footballer are they.
Besides that I was emphasizing the point that it's not down to
you to decide what is a 'legitimate' reason for wearing a pissing t-shirt.

...well this started off as a funny thread but it has seriously gone down hill since.
The story was good, nice work, i think maybe though you should leave his Grandaughter alone though. Milk is one thing but his grandaughter is a whole new ball game.
If he catches you trying to trap with her you may find your next bottle of milk has an extra something added to it.
As for the T-shirt, come on people lighten up, its only when you cross that line of saying 'yes i am a Royal Marines Commando' that your taking the piss. In this context i dont see anything wrong with it at all.
Best of luck with your training surfingdream, and with the girl.
P.S Alfa, CTC used to be very strict with what T-shirts recruits could wear whilst in training, one in particular (the god is airborne, he failed the commando course) being a VERY VERY big no no untill you had passed the course yourself. I imagine it is exactly the same still, as in the context of recruits wearing T-shirts portraying they have done something they havent yet, its all very different to what surfingdream was doing.

No I didn't forget what I said to xcj, why what's your point?
Is it cause I said they were just my opinions and you think that is somehow stating other peoples opinion?
The reason I said that was in answer to his question about wearing football shirts, my point was if you see someone in a Royal Marine t-shirt people usually assume that they're in the Marines you don't assume the same thing about someone wearing a football shirt (that they play for that team I mean)
Not sure if that was what you meant?
Anyway dwarfy is right it's getting a bit daft now. I intended my last post to be my last, that's the intention I have with this one, wonder if it'll last this time!

In this day and age, Id encourage my 9 year old girl to punch and kick any stranger who came up and said hello
