Awesome mate! Congrats!
Bottom Field 'warm up' is bloody tough aint it! That and Gym test 2 were by far the hardest things for me.
Did you have to do the pyramid press ups at the end of the 3 miler? We had a fair few guys really struggle at that.

Did most of the people that failed fail on the 3 miler and assault course or did some fail on their gym test results??

Well done mate.
Someone actually knocked over a corporal? That would have been funny. On mine someone swang around a corporal at the end of a road, on the three mile run, like a pole dancer and got a bollocking.

lol, theres some plonkers about isnt there!!
none of the lads on my prmc failed on gym results, well 1 lad failed the bleep test which is a part of gym test 1 so yea kind of 1 lad did then.
some lads who got a level rt4 or worse(psychometric test result) had to acheive a level 11 on bleep test so the lad who reached 10.5 must of been one of them i think. 9 failed the 3 miler and another lad got prmdc for gym test 1 results and assault course results i think, apperently he was 2 points short of making the pass grade.
nah we didnt get the pyramid press-ups mate, we got pyramid spirints at the end of gym test 2 instead, that was absolutely nails, i had cramp in my thighs and it killed me to double mark time in the gym!!
i tell you what im soo glad we dont see bottom field until week 16 of training!

oops, what op you got 2 have?
training wise i just ran and did press,sit,chin-ups in the week up to prmc before that i did circuits from the net and rm booklet, errmm and also yomped up some hills with weight on my back a few times, nuthin too major or drastic, played football with the lads whenever they were havin a kick-about, jus anything you can do to get your cv up is excellent, and when you get down there never give up just give it 100% and remember the pain and training does end, so plod on and you will pass!!!
bang out the press-ups and sit-ups and chin-ups, also run as much as you can, dont just do 3/4 mile do about 6/7 and also sprints will help. all the best with anyone whos going through the process, its not impossible just not for the weak!

Well done mate

Congratulations.
i didnt realise that you were allowed to take your water bottle with you while training?
the 3 miler was it one the first or second day?
and after 1.5miles when u turn and run back, do they tell you to beat the PTi or do u run as a group?

The 3miler was on the 1st day, 1st morning, so we were as fresh as possible but still 9 failed!!
Both you lads dig out blind and give it your all, im sure you'll both pass, the prmc isnt all that hard, it is about determination and if you have it you'll be successful.
I cant wait for recruit training, im a bit nervous about foundation but once ive got that out the way im sure training will be a laugh and maybe even enjoyable at times!!

I have ventilation tubes in my ears

they need to be removed and the perforation healed before I will get through a medical
DLINK I've heard from one source that on the way back its a sprint finish, but others says if one fails you all fail. Can anyone clarify on that?
