Did you hear about Amir Khan when he got back to Bolton after winning silver in the Olympic Boxing ?
Bolton County Council flew the flag of Pakistan over the town hall - I sh*t you not! Someone remind me who the silver went to.... Was it Gt. Britain or Pakistan ?

See the problem there is that, Amir wouldn't want it I doubt very much. He fought for GB, was proud to do so, his bloody dad wore union flag waistcoat! Amir holds British citizenship, therefore what is he, Brit or Pakistani? That's just a council trying to be 'PC' to the extreme, buyt ti's not as Khan is BRITISH! I'd be pi**ed off if I was him & my council flew the flag for Pakistan, he could of foguht for Pakistan & nearly did, but no, he fought for the UK! There rant over.

Well good news guys.
i registered my view on the burning of the flag debate (in favour of outlawing it!) with my MP and i got a reply within 2 days. It wasnt even a reply to my email. He tried to reply to my email but the server wouldnt let him so he went to trouble of sending me a signed letter stating that he would be voting infavour of the bill and that he would also be voting in favour of any bill which attempts to save the scottish regiments from amalgamation or disbanding!!
Hows that for service. I didnt even expect a reply never mind a signed letter from him
