He did 22 years and was a wizz with when it came to cleaning out the sh*thouses wherever he was sent.
This powerhouse of mediocraty was assigned to 40's officers Mess. he lasted one entire day. He mixed up the salt with the sugar. The steward just thanked God that that was his first task. One hour and out.
He maintained a clean bowl mind! ARISE MARINE MUSHROOM!

Old one this.... Young Marine picks up the phone and dial what he thinks is his Oppo's number and extention... Hurls a tirade of abuse at his mate and then silence... 'Do you know who you are talking to? this is the RSM' came the reply..... stunned silence..... the young lad was then heard to say in a faltering voice....' Do you know who this is ?'.... the reply came back 'No'.... 'Thank F*$k' was the lads reply.........the line then went dead!
