Ordered mine from Amazon yesterday; it says delivered in 1 to 2 weeks! I swore never to use them again after the 'Band of Brothers' saga at Christmas, but they sent me a £5 voucher!

I thought you might pin the voucher on your 30 miler flag.

Still waiting for mine to arrive from Amazon. Hope it arrives before the Thirty miler

Why the urgency? If it arrives the day before the thirty miler, at least you could have an excuse for stopping and 'resting'. You wouldn't need the excuse of "my knee hurts" or "I twisted my anlke back there" and "is that bone in my foot broken?"

As the discussion is now on Amazon.... I ordered 'Forced out' from them in the middle of December and got my copy, now read, on 4th Feb. Not too bad, as I understand the book wasn't on general release until 30th January

Whilst all you guys are slogging it across Dartmoor I shall be sunning myself on the beach at Costa del Sol!!

Require the book before the 30 miler for another reason

All this must be good news for Simon, especially the bit about having to wait 1-3 weeks for your copy. This must mean the book is selling well, good on yer mate,

Wully my ol' Coypool buddy.
While you are sunning yourself on the Costa del Sol,

I will be doing the slogging on sunny ( I hope!) Dartmoor.
I will happily accept your donation, and add 'Wully' to my sponsorship flag, if that will let you read your book on the beach without worrying about us!

Sorry Derek, I've already promised my donation to another worthy, albeit an ex chopper driver

But I'm sure Amazon will deliver before then - I hope.

Ordered my copy yesterday from Waterstones in Dublin. I'll have it in two weeks, sweet... My Bywater is now an international author BTW.

Has anyone read Royal Marines in the '90s? (Can't remember who it is by.)

I've just had an E-Mail from Amazon, 11th Feb, and my copy is in the post; ordered it on 7th Feb.

All is forgiven.
