I have been asked to join the Freemasons but I could not see the point of it all, and apart from that I have my hands full with all the ex military groups that I belong to and help run.

The thing is you see it at a problem, and I don't. Now I will agree that a number of them work things between them selfs there fore enriching them selfs. Again many of the other don't and there are many other self serving groups who are never mentioned. The only reason this crops up is that not every one is allowed in and the ceremonies and secrecy surrounding it all.
Mind you if had not been for the Mason's America might still have been an English Colony.

I had more trouble from the Catholic Guild trying to influence matters in business that I was in rather than anyone else. There are dozens of groups just as bad as or even worse as the Freemason. As I said it is only the very secret nature of the Masons that bring this sort of publicity. If you are that worried about what is going on then take a wider look around you
