having said that only got 1 month until specialist interview!

What's involved in the specialist interview then mate? More interviews and tests?

Basically yeah for firefighter its lots of physical tests that firefighter would do
e.g. hose running (the worst one)
climbing ladders
claustraphobia tests
etc
then another interview with a serving ff.

Its the hose running thats the worst mate.
Although I do have one to practice with so that helps!
Besides I get the feeling that over the next 4 years you may be doing a fair bit more Phys than me

Got a call yesterday and my PGAC is now the 07/01/2008, well pleased. Got put on a standy list, so could be away sooner than expected!

Passed the PGAC, was hard work and a lot tougher than expected! Hopefully get on a TG course in Feb.!
