Thanks mate. Yeah fingers x'd about depot in October. How did you find PRAC mate, did many lads fail? Also what was your steeplechase and runtime? ( If you don't mind me asking )

think if a pass prac in a week or two a might be in the october intake not defo the now still need to beast PRAC lol ... what is the run times for steeplechase ??? is a pass or fail like the 1.5 miles ????

Im pretty sure the time limit for the steeplechase is 18mins and I think as long as you show your giving it everything you've got you can pass it if you miss this time ( don't take my word for it though as I'm not 100% mate whether it's pass or fail )

Dunno mate, they can't be on holiday if I'm booked on though, I'm goin Tuesday but another lad I've been speaking to got his date given to him before me, but his date ain't till sept wheras mines next week so I dunno y that is. I'm not complaining though lol. How did u do at ADSC mate, do you know your runtime and grade?

the time limit for the steeplechase is a target, you have to get under 20mins. THIS IS THE PRAC PROGRAMME ON THE MOD, PARACHUTE REGIMENT WEBSITE. The only difference is the 3.5 squadded run is BEFORE the 1.5 run, and it's a warm up but thats an understatement I am lead to believe. I haven't done mine yet, I need to get my doctor to give me the all clear for a medical reason then hopefuly I will get on to doing mine, How many sit ups and press ups do you need to be able to do?
PROPOSED PRAC PROGRAMME

1 1200 – 1300 Pick up potential recruits from Darlington Station Minibus and 2x JNCOs
1300 – 1400 Move to Helles Barracks, move into accommodation, have lunch, initial kit issue . Under supervision
1400 – 1500 Introduction to PRACFamiliarisation with Barracks OC PRACCourse NCO
1500 – 1600 Introduction to Trainasium OC PRAC and course NCOsAmbulance and medic present
1600 – 1700 Ice Breaker. Presentation on themselves by potential recruits. Course NCO in Pl presentation room.
1700 – 1745 Evening meal
1745 - 1900 Description of Barrack routine and demo of block jobs and locker/bed layout Course NCO

count me in boys......and ma mate just done the prac few weeks back on the 3.5 mile run isnt 7mins/mile lol but it is quick
