I have mentioned this one before "THE BOYS FROM COMPANY C" made in the late 70's One really good film with all the tinsel removed.
The latest "DEBBIE" film is looking quite good mind.
"DEBBIE DOES THE NAZIS" very similar to the Debbie does Dallas but with interesting sub plots vis a vee Hitlers facination with cucumbers and fully grown elephants. One to watch I feel.

What about good comedies? I like Hitler, My Part in his Downfall. It's about Spike Milligans life during training in teh 40's a bloody good film in my view.

Bridge over the river kwai was on the other week, I doubt it'll be on again for a while. Has anyone ever watched travel sick on bravo with Grub Smith? very funny prog, on one he had to get a japanese tourist to help him carry a fridge over the river kwai as a tribute to peace. pretty funny but all the japanese tourists looked like miserable buggers, and he had to get a tailand bloke to pretend to be japanese.
