Most of the time they are just left standing there with that "how the fu....????" look on their faces.
I can attest to that, but honestly, I never could do all the fancy parkour stuff you see in video's and crap. my main claim to fame was being able to do the jackie chan thing, hopping from two corners of a wall to climb up it.

Fences, trees, barbed wire, rivers, bushes, garages, chalk cliffs, walls, sheds, doors, buildings and all sorts of obstacles. I got over or through it one way or the other. It was just a game for my friends and my brother. Good times. Not only that, but if you're being chased when you're just a kid by a gang of older youths, it's all adrenaline. You feel the full rush after you've got away. Unfortunately, I live in an area that still is full of those little b*sterds and the one's that used to chase me when I was younger are nothing now. They actually weren't anything then, I just didn't realise it. That's the power of fear though. If my Dad had ever got hold of them he would have hung the tw*ts or given them a right hiding and dragged them around to their houses and had words with their parents, no doubt about it. It's funny how it all changes when you start growing up and you realise they're actually nothing. They steer clear of you then.
I assume you mean pushing off from side to side when scaling walls, using momentum? We did that. If you got it wrong you just kept on practicing until you got it! Good stuff.

The free running in Casino Royale is the second best bit of that film. The adrenaline rush you get from just watching it makes you want to get out there and do it. Well, I thought so anyway.
The best bit is seeing Eva Green in THAT dress.
