Not going down hills it doesn't... Just stand, slide and yell yippee at the top of you're voice

Sorry, you're not allowed to have that much fun. You're offending mr & mrs. nobody over there and if you fall over and hurt yourself, I can't help you due to health and saftey regulations
Sliiiiiiide away Stokey, slide away.

You're not the only one. Running when it's p*ssing down with rain is ledge as well. Coming off the rugby field plastered is mud is also pretty.
Love it.

Most people think we're all crazy for going 'Oh awesome its raining I'm off for a run!' or 'ooooo a nice heavy frost

'

Still England must have the best running weather in the world most of the time. It is rarely crazy cold(unlike in Germany,for example,where you can go on a run and find the ice has stuck your wooly hat to your head!), and nowhere is it ever crazy hot and humid so that you're tired out after a mile at a relaxed pace.

About 10-20 seconds to put the whole thing together actually. From thought to action.
About the same time it take's you to pack your bag for school.

School is cool Stokey so stay in school.

Not far off with that estimation there, I take my food out of the fridge, fill my water bottle up and toss them on top of my books ,which stay forever in my bag. (saves me forgetting which ones to take

)
Anyways... I no my time (10-20 seconds) is pretty poor in comparison to what yours would have been , but it's classed as cheating if your mum packed the bag for you
(poor come back I know... I tried my best though, after all it's the taking part that counts

)
Anyways back to Military Fitness and training

Yeah....... lol, if you want to slack for a bit why not? I've been in the gym training for about 5-6 months now 5 days a week and in the last couple of weeks I've only been in about 2-3 times a week. I think its important to get a good rest because I've probably been overdoing it, and its getting a bit boring now anyway. So in summary this crimbo im going to drink far too much and eat far too much.

Hey, think yourselves lucky. You have the choice whether or not to slack.
My training team thinks I may have screwed something in my leg so I gotta stay off it for 2 weeks, possibly due to either my trainers or overtraining.

Illustrious,
Sorry to hear about that mate, hope you get it sorted soon. Don't let it get you down!
As to slacking over Christmas. F**k I'm in trouble. Go back on the 7th and hardly done any work. English Language coursework due in on Mon- no where near the 4000 word limit having done a whole section wrong. English Literature revision- none at all, exam on the 23rd. History coursework prep- no, can't be bothered.

English Lit essay on Shelley and anger- not even looked at it. In fact, the only English work I HAVE done is to dig out my copy of Hamlet from the depths of my room to put under my chest for press ups. Sadly, I don't think this is what my teacher had in mind when she loaned it to me.
On a bright note, press ups have improved, can now bang out 30 sit ups and planned some nice runs to get my training back on track. Physcometric practice has got me feeling more confident and can't wait to get going again.
Eaten far to many mince pies, Roses, cake etc and the Turkey has finally gone- but only in the form of soup- nice. Good Christmas season? Yeah, wasn't bad- just dreading next bloody week!!!

I went on my first run this morning after my rest week and OMG. I actually thought I may improve a bit today but by 2 seconds was not what I had in mind

. Im really worried about my running times they are apauling, best ive had was mid/low 11's and the usual is 12/13 mins just to cover 1.5 Miles

and after I swear I can taste blood in my mouth. After my 6/7 month training I was hoping to be in the 10 min zone at least, im all there on strength like can do 50/60 pressups no stopping and over 70 situps and 10 odd pullups its just the running that worrying me now. I want to get to ITC

.
Moan over...

Tom, why don't you have a look into join your local running club. They will be able to give you great advice and when you're training with experienced runners they may be able to see where you're going wrong.
Also running with a group will help push you more as it will give you something to chase.
It's just a thought but it could help you achieve your goal.
