best thing to do is just do as much cv as you can possibly do hill programmes are a good way to build fittness also vary your training like do a circuit
5 mins treadmill
5 mins cross trainer
5 mins bike
4 mins treadmill
4 mins cross trainer
4 mins bike
and so on all the way down to 1 min and include press ups after every machine thats just an example

I haven’t started the selection process yet since I have a long way to go any idea on the sort of time frame between applying and going on the PRMC and can you put it off if your not ready?

From what i ahve seen it can take anything from 4-6months from when you apply, until you hit your PRMC so you will have plenty of time to train, and train bloody hard! Not all the AFCO's are the same, your application could be moved on quite quickly, mine was flying until i had complications with my medical

so now im on the bench for the mojo!
I dont know about putting it off but i think you can? Someone on here will definately know though because i think lads on here have done so.

Yep you can put it off if you decide that you are not ready/ill.

My AFCO told me the fastest they had got someone in to RT was just over 3 months!!!
It has taken me 11...
