Glad that it is going to help mate. Physical fitness is an obvious attribute to an aspiring marine, but mental fitness is what I thing shines through in this video!

Did everyone else that was able to view it just click on the link and then it played straight away?

Or does it have to load for a while?

Really wanna watch it but no joy. :-?

Great video, hard to believe i was down there last week!!

This should be made a sticky as it gives the best insight for anyone wanting to become a Royal Marine and do the PRMC.

P.S

Didn't like the look of that tunnel near to the end where it's half filled with water, and he said you can get stuck! Anyone know how long that thing is?

Different bloke that did the 30 miler. Gethin somethingorother (a taff).

Nice video though, first good video explanation of a regain I've seen.

Damn that looks like a difficult technique to master!
Aways look on the bright side of life.

Hey did some record it off their tv an put in on goolevideo, mind the you tube aint much better...guess its all we have !!!

I was wondering if we should try and find all these vids and upload them to google video and sticky it for newbies to the site...see what lies ahead :D

Off the top off my head :

Matt Baker frome blue peter does the PRMC - is it uploaded ??

Gethin Jones (come on boyo  ) - Does 30 miles - anyone find it ? (I've looked everywhere)

Matt Baker and Simon Thomas from blue peter do somthing else with the marines - a night march or somthing? **

I swear i've seen one of the blue peter boys do the POC or maybe it was just the endurance course - definatley somthing to do with the Enduro course either way!!

Liz Barker and Konnie Huq join the marines for a day - mainly talking to recruits and doing wimpy girly stuff

Erm yea lol I also remember a serise call green beret on ITV1 on about 10.30pm a few years ago (2003..?!) where the camera followed recruits for the 32 weeks from civvi to Royal Marine Commando - i never got to watch it, because the listing were different for Wales (was some welsh shit on at 10.30 in place of the RM series  ) I dont think they've ever repeated it though...

**Simon Thomas bloke was suppost to the the PRMC with Matt, but had to do somthing else (other filming comitimnets or family problems or somthing so he end up joining matt half-way on this other exercise thingy...or so i recall...

We should make this a sticky....

P.S. Oh i would love to see Peter duncan with marines from blue peter in the 80s (81-82 or 83...?!) - think it was the 30 miler i cant remember (sp?) See CTC lymstone back in the day 8) Anyone have it or knw of it ?!

Shall i post this as a seperate thread btw ?!

Edit i've e-mailed bbc to ask if we can have some of the tapes/be made avalible on website for download or something....its prob a no though...ho hum...

I don't really know what to say here - apart from GOOD LUCK to everyone going to PRMC or POC - remember: people here have been there and come out alive, pass or fail....its YOUR EFFORTS that count!!!

One of the lads, in the mid 90s, possibly Tim Vincent ('nother taff......from N Wales though) or Matt Baker went to Norge with Royal, did the skiing into icy water bit etc, not sure if that was an entire show though.
