You dont get binned straight away, thats s##t. You do have a lot of criteria tests, that if you fail you will get backtrooped, but not binned straight away. One guy in my room has been backtrooped 9 times for various thing, thats really true. Maybe thats a rare case, or maybe they need numbers.

Finally my internet is working so can post! don't no where to start really...first 2 weeks are well....in my eyes quite shite, literally pure admin and more admin, there's 46 in our troop with one MD (jacko sorry fella) and apparently we've got a rep as a good troop already, and for our PSO interviews we're the best troop he's ever had so we've been told which is hoofin. In my experience of the first 2 weeks it's all about being the grey man, doing as your told when you're told and just crackin on with you're admin, because basically thats all it is, with some phys aswell. Generally speaking our troop are a good bunch of lads with the occassional w*nkers who need to sort their act out but hopefully they will. Our training team are awesome and with their last troop they passed out 35 lads! one of the biggest kings squads. Moved into our 6 man accom now which is alot more 'homely' i suppose you can put it then a 60man room! you'll most likely find you'reself thinkin 'wtf have i done' during the first couple of days because it's a culture shock, but keep you're head up and be proud of what your doing, you're no longer civi scum

(well still kinda! haha)
Any q's fire away but im only 2 weeks in so no indepth silly questions i won't no!
Another small troop with 46 our's is 44 strong, also which block have you 935 lot moved into?

Im got 11 weeks left now. The main fact is they need numbers, we have been told time and time again that instead of binning people who are not at the correct standard, they would rather try and train them to the correct standard. Obviously the test standards cannot be changed but the order of tests can. For example a few years ago you would do your commando tests straight after final ex, now they are spread apart.

Week 3/4 is quite good, but its mostly weapon drills and more weapon drills especially week 4.
The lumi tabs are somewhat of a relief to get rid off, plus side being that we dont look like kn*bs no more, but negative as everyone knows, no more safety line to fall on.
As for the sh*t hitting the fan we are going the recieve that when we get back

, apparently ever since we left foundation we have been crap and the training team have been kind to us so far. So in accordance we are to be f**cked around big time when we get back.

Would there be any point in taking things such as Ipods, or PSP's for foundation?
How often can you get to contact home, Girlfriends gonna make me take my mobile on the Commando tests i can just see it!
Is there anything you would have done before hand, in prep that you didn't?
Good luck for the 30(hopefully) more weeks, Darren.

end of the day do what ever you want.......just DON't get caught. ive got some speakers for my ipod for the 6 man rooms which should save my sanity when im ironin all my stuff and sortin my locker. i think 'boom' boxes are allowed after foundation but no tv's.

It was very merry

My trainings been going pretty poor really, i'm wanting to run more, but i've got this perfetic(sp) hip injury that i've had for months even before my PRMC, i think i know what it is now, the out side of my right foot is hurting abit(feels slightly bruised), so i think i'm not planting my foot correctly, which is some how knacking up my hip after i run anything more than 4 miles.
I've never had this before for when i did my POC so it can't be my natural foot action?
Anyway it didn't stop me on PRMC so maybe a good warm up just sorts it out so should be alright come 3 weeks time!

good luck mate, i hope it gets better.
Lol, last night when i was blind drunk I deicided to jump over a railing instead of walking around it, and i suffered the price, like the floor kinda disapeared and i fell down like 4ft on all fours. Land in a press up postions and my left forearm is feeling it now, i think i just brusied it (I am hoping).
