It's on the australian army website and it doesn't mention which bleep test it is but it's done over 20m.
What do you guys think? Is this the VO2 or should I keep looking?
Thats the one i use mate, it is the right test.
Another way of preparing for a VO2 is to start a treadmill at 8.5km and increase the speed by 0.5km every minute.

Never knew that. I've been trying to figure out a way to practice the bleep test without having the space to do it in.
I'm guessing that each minute is another level??

It is exactly the same principle mate, but remember your not using the same muscle groups as the treadmill is doing part of the work.
Best to do both if you can, you really dont need much space to run a VO2 proper, when i cant get to a park i use the lane at the back of my house.

a guy on my prmc only got to like level 10 on the bleep test and still passed.

Well no, not exactly as you're not stopping and starting every 20 metres on the treadmill.

soem one said some guy got lvl 10 and still passed this is true. sinse the only test whitch is i would say important is 3 miler. sinse i seen "kids" pass the 3 miler yet get min on all/ rest of tests.
though i guess it be hard work once they go into RT

u need a minimum of 10 on the bleep test....11 if u didnt do well in ur apptitude test and they only let u go as far as 13. i did it recently so thats how it goes buddy
