So what do you call your skidders?
Never chop wood in a rubber dinghy.
I don't know how hard the beastings will be, but CV is one of my strong points so I am confident about that and the assault course.
I said that and I found the assault course hard. Remember after the bottom field your f@#k to do anything else, and we had to do it in real thick mud. No offence mate but ithink ur underestimating it. Always strive for maximum, I was aiming for 60 pressups but managed to get 40 when i got down their. Its also mental mate you have to stick at it no matter what.
Future marine,
What do you think will look better, just a shirt and tie, or a shirt, tie and blazer/jacket?
Personally i would say a full suit looks smarter and i would imagine most will agree, i was told strictly by my AFCO to wear a suit. You can get a decent suit that looks smart for about a hundred quid if you look around, you dont have to buy a designer one its just about making a good effort and impression with your appearence...pride in ones self.
Just my opinion.Good luck with the interview.

If you turn up clean, shaved, wearing smart clothes (shirt & tie), polished/clean shoes and no jewellery or stupid haircuts (pink mohawk) then you'll be marked as having been of smart appearance. Not everyone can afford to spend money on a suit. If you've got one or can borrow one and it's smart then why not wear it but if you haven't then I wouldn't worry so much about it. Your attitude and how prepared you are for interviews etc will make a bigger impression.
I don't think they have a dress code at the door but "no jeans, no trainers" would be on it if they did.
