I'll ignore that little outburst Mr Mojo Risin.

Yeah, these workouts are the ones used in a normal week (not all one after the other!) along with running and weights.

Ergs are perfectly designed torture machines and so the painful legs for doing 20secs on 20secs off is to be expected. Lactic acid buildup is unavoidable!!

I'll second Sarastro, you train just like running. If you want power, do intervals and sprints, if you want endurance do long steady state pieces. If you are a rower, do both.

Just work hard and you improve surprisingly quickly.
