Problem with you bloody matelots is you had it too easy. You weren't the ones who had to coax life into the PBI after dragging them from their slit renches, tired, cold, muddy and soaked through after guarding the metal monsters all night. You weren't the one who had to hold the mugs of gunfire to their parched lips and nurse life back into them in time for the day's slaughter to begin!!!

We had a couple in the mob. Kept well to themselves and spent most of thier time shitting bricks about being found out. You were caught you were binned and did time in Colchester before being discharged into Civvy Street. No second chances at all.

I think it's 100% wrong to let them join. The average Serviceman is not going to be to chuffed at sharing a Grot with an A1 Whoofter. I can see a fair few getting Fragged to be honest. Trust is one of the most important things in the Forces. And I could never trust a Whoofter when my farking lifes on the line!
