As a yoof I was dragged out of a quiet leisurely chat with a nice man and his friend, both in brown duffel coats, with the words, "Take I'm afraid and I'm sorry away!"
As a polite pillock to an obviously senior member of the species I'd answered all his questions with ,"I'm afraid I can't answer that question" or "I'm sorry I can't answer that question".
Did I learn quickly after that?
