Be very careful about that tho. Over stretching without sufficient warming up first is itself a very high cause of achilles tendonitis. When I started getting it, I made sure I walked about a mile before I started stretching for my run. I am also pretty sure that insufficient warming up before my runs caused a persistent strain in my hamstrings.
Again that also disappeared once I started the walk before stretching.

It's ok, i do a 5 to 10 min jog/run before i stretch now, make sure i can feel my heart beating fast and a sweat starting.
