Skiffle, I think the only words you spoke to me during my time at CTC were; 'that was s**t!.
Highest bleep test I've seen a nod get was level 15.

Highest bleep test score's i know of was Sebastian Coe, who was one of the few people to complete a bleep test (level 22 depending on type of test distance and speed of bleep's used).
This is men't to be the highest acheivable so the test dosen't go any higher, reaches the point were reaction, turn around time's and maximum physical speed will never match the bleep's.

I think Gazza in the early 90's got to Level 20 or completed it, I dont think I would be able to run the last couple of levels alone without the umpteen before it.

I think Roger Black has completed it. Beckham can get a high score on it apparantly.

Beckham can complete it - and according to Rio Ferdinand still look fresh faced after it

If you do rubbish on your apptitude test you need at least level 11 or they will kick you out on the day.(they inform you of this before you run)
I was one of the smallest on the course and I watched big muscle men leave on that day.
I saw about 15 people leave on the first morning of tests (most of them were w@#k anyway), even a bloke who played for Brighton Youth Football club.
I run my heart out and scored 12.2, I could score 15 from fresh. The thing is they get you warmed up before you even start the PT tests, when I say warmed up I mean out of breath, hot and sweaty and dying for a drink.
The maximum on the day was 13, I suppose it depends how strong your troop is but I was suprised to see them stop at 13.
We had this short musclebound black PT running with us until level 7, then he parts and you have to pace yourself. As soon as he left quite a few people sped up and wasted energy.
One of the sayings was "My Girlfriend can run level 12 without breaking sweat" - Maybe all marines share a marrige with Fatima Whitbread
The Air in the Gym is as dry as a bone and it really effects you, I cannot even exagerate how much fluid you need.
Also, I know this is a given but don't eat right before the tests, I watched some bloke chuck up a Mars Bar into his Bib

Do the PTI's let you have a few drinks during your Gym Tests, or are you on your own as far as finding fluids?
