There wrere some lads on my PRMC who were told to shave, they couldnt of had any stubble between them.
Im sure this applies. There was a girl i knew who had electrolysis(spelling?) on her legs, its slowed the growth of hair. Look into it for your 5'O'Clock,im sure it would work.

I remember wathing a programme about the younger recruits at lympstone and they all had terrible shaving rashes. quite funny, I'd rather be in the twice a day catagory then the not at all one

Haha that brings back memorys when I was on my SQ way back when my fireteam partner was barely 18 and his face was as bare as a babys bottom. Once he was getting jacked up for not shaving (why should he ??) and he pointed out a girl across the hallway had more facial hair than him.

I've never heard of guys shaving twice - unless there was some 'special' parade scheduled for the afternoon. Then everyone would do their usual 'blutions.'
On my very first 'inspection', DI says, 'Did you shave this morning?' 'No Sgt, I haven't started yet.'
Well, you'd better start then!
And I thought I was so skin!

Thanks Rob.... but I'm NEVER in the wrong thread..... as MadMick will testify.....when marching on parade.... It was I who was in step.... not the rest of the squad

I was always the 1st Drills Fave......

I remember being an old man of seventeen and having to shave twice a day - not because of my blue beard but because it was the done thing !
( Could have blown mine away - fluff ).
" Try standing a little closer to the razor next time my son "
Ah yes - Seven O'Clock razor blades and the safety razor - used for haircuts too at the Depot when caught a bit short....

What about battery operated ones fellows? Then you could take them into the field. I'm not ashamed to admit it, but I've never shaved with a razor yet, should I start now before I go down to CTC?
