I'm training for the london marathon ( dont know if I'm in or out yet ) During the week as well as running I do gym work concerntrating on my main muscle groups for "core stability" namely my lower back, running will build your stamina up and thats one of the things I imagine someone going for selection would need but if you are carrying weigh over that sort of distance , even just body weight then u are going to have to condition all of your bod

You had better be quicker than that, Set your target at 10 miles in 70 minutes with boots
