we did our press-ups to command (as we aren't rich enough to have a machine to make our beeps for us! ).
Neither are we! The PTI was just saying "BEEP...BEEP" at the start of each press up. He only did a couple to give us the idea, but he looks like he could go on forever!

Think we used PTI's commands last time.

Dont' forget I'm in holding troop! Once the Physio clears me that is!
They'll be quite a few folk I think as its been cut down to one intake a year.

The bleep test will be run in groups of about 5.
Press ups etc will be split into two groups, you'll count your oppo's.

Its a decent weekend, good fizz etc. Not as bad as weekends in the field.

1.5mile in 7 mins is fast, few of the lads can do it though, just rattle in your best. there isnt' a quota or anything, if you meet standards and show right attitudes you'll get in.

Not sure which PTI you mean Rabby, was it a Sgt or a Colour Sgt? If its the Colour Sgt then he could go on forever probably! I don't want to give out peoples names obviously. IF its the sgt he could do it just under forever, forever minus a day maybe.

It was Colours, and yeah he's built like a tank and could go on forever.

How long have you been out K24? When did you join Holding Troop as I haven't seen you about sinci I joined.
There are 3 kinds of people: those who can count & those who can't.

Been out since December with combo of back, hip and sciatic nerve damage. Did the drill nights and Confirmation weekend in Jan. Passed tests but not fizz obviously.

Hoping to start training again at end of this month but my hip has started cracking everytime do stretches from the physio. Sure she'll fix it soon though.

joined holding troop before it was even formed - Back squaded from Phase1A along with one other recruit that I know of. Due to injury I've never actually been but am on the list. either that or they've just forgotten all about me and the kit is mine!

Don't worry mate, not a Walter Mitty!
