Good on you Stuart. Does anyone know if we can make him an Honorary Bootneck? He has displayed tenacity and fortitude as well as an obvious disregard for authority, all good bootie characteristics in my view. Is this why i rose so rapidly to the dizzy rank of marine and stayed there?

Loz, hope you enjoyed it! Sad thing, the actor who played Major Mike Norman died last year. Bob Peck his name was, so now there won`t be a sequel about Juliets` return

I phoned the number Stuart Urban gave (08700 100 222) and got quite an optimistic response from the girl answering the phone. I got the impression that if enough people call "with it being the twentieth anniversary" (her words) that there may be a chance. So if we all spread the word to bombard them with calls we may get lucky. Good luck to us all, gents.

Hi, Chris
I rang the beeb and spoke to a girl called Roberta who promised to forwrd my request to the scheduler. She said that a lot of people had rang in lately with the same request. " yes, well it`s" l began, but she cut me off with"I know, it`s the 20th anniversary"
As you say, if enough of us ring in......
She asked for my name and I had to spell"Hackedoff" three times!
yours, Aye
Harry

hi lads

Stuart urban e-mailed me the info today (im a new member to the MF) and i must say i think we all owe him a great deal for his help in what started out a question about getting one copy of the film!!

As i am only 17 i was not born when you guys went 'down south' but since becoming rubber dagger recruit (Reservist) and have been talking with vets'. i have become intrested in what went on. just to make you feel old, i even had to read up about the conflict as part of my History A-level which i am studying as well as trainnig for that green lid.

i am going to phone the Beeb up and ask or it to shown on the terssetrial channels aswell. i am also going to tell the blokes at my local RMR det about this site and what they have achived.

all the best lads

Dave.
