This was,a while ago,a bloody good forum.We had problems with the Yoof,whenever the schools and colleges closed for the holidays,but nothing like the viscious attacks now going on.The best thing that could happen is for the set-up to close down,It's usefulness as an aid to young people who showed an interest in the Forces,has gone,lost in the bickering,snide remarks,often by people who should know better,that now plague the Forums.Well done The Mole,what an egotist a star,the superman come to see justice for all.I just hope he enjoys seeing the end of this forum,as he heads off for other fields to conquer.

Before this goes any further I'd just like to clarify I have no axe to grind with Jay! My only interest in this is to see fair play and possibly return this forum to the place it once was!

Jay I think the only way forward is by drastic measure, I suggest you appoint a neutral party who is trusted by all (if such a person exists!) who has the same rights and privileges as all mods to investigate this and lay it to rest either way! This person should be above all reproach and should upon the completion of said investigation remain in post as an impartial enforcer, a Provost Marshal or Garrison Sarn't Major in effect! Make everybody answerable to this bod. They need to police the forum with neither fear nor favour and only be answerable to the people of the forum! Give them the power to bin accounts (with published justification) and to reign in anybody be they mods or members!
I honestly believe this is now the only way to save this forum which I personally love and would hate to see go under I've got 20 years service policing the military and still have advice and encouragement for the youngsters...this is the only place to give that, that is worth anything, let's not lose it !
You'll need somebody who will stand their ground in spite of criticism and derision who above all is fair and impartial!

I'd like to nominate Sticky Blue if you can get him to come back failing that,Goldie Ex RMP due to his previous employment and the fact that I trust him!

Great choice of words H_N and thinking along the same lines we have been thinking over the last few days.

My partner will be returning as main Admin as well, and both together things will change for the New Year.
It may be slow progress to start but we will get there in the end.

I really hope the forum can be saved as it was without doubt the best resource available to the youngsters!

In all honesty I don't know if your partner returning to / joining the forum is the answer...I believe you're gonna have to go with an independant to regain the trust of the general population!

Whatever you decide..you have my best wishes for the future as this place was once great and is worth fighting for!

This place needs policing and I don't believe any existing admin or mods can fill the post and hold the public trust...that's not a reflection on them more a reflection on the situation now upon us!

Wise words, but surely that is what Mods are employed for in the first place.

Rogue Chef as a system operator i have checked our database and can see that your PM inbox is pretty much full and there are no errors on our part which we can see.

Please could you clear your local computer browser cache as this may resolve your problem.

It appears they were there all along, I just couldn't find them. No harm done. There is no suggestion of foul play. My apologies for the confusion.
