Yeah, it was nearly as hot as that here in California. 8) The cold beer seems to sort that out though! :drinking:

Well I use tesco value vests, they come in packs of three and are pretty handy on a winter's morn.

Fairly chopsy comments from a two wannabe recruits. If either of you earn the right to have RPG rounds fired at you, and you still think it's funny, then gob off about it. I am very lucky to be alive today, mainly due to the firers of those things not being decent shots.

Yea fair one GR.

I was only having a laugh, I personally find its good to joke about these things, you obviously don't though and I appologise.

Like I said, fair play to you.

No probs mate, I've got as daft a sense of humour as the next bloke, but sometimes people can get a bit above thier station. The noise of those RPGs really brought back some scary memories. Plus these comments came just after I had heard about a very close mate being casevac'd with some quite bad injuries. Am off to see him this week in hospital.

I'm very sorry to hear that GR, my best wishes to your mate for a full and speedy recovery.

Cheers. He's lucky to be alive and he knows it. If he wasn't in one of those new vehicles he wouldn't be. Spoke to him yesterday and looking forward to visiting him later this week. Kind of expecting a phone call to pack my kit now! :o
