Bleedin' heck I am out of touch, please kill me. :D
That said, I did say I was talking about 1994.

'Cos B Sqn used to be in Wales....

I know that DOY was effectively shut down as a military HQ quite a few years ago, 'cos last time I walked down the Kings Road, which was in 2005 it was al lcoffee shops and expensive clothes shops where the DOY front car park used to be.

I wonder where the London Irish Rifles ACF relocated to then?

And where are 10 Para now then?

Blimey you leave the country for 5 minutes (12 years in my case) ...and they swap everything round.... :D :D :D

Ah well, best I have a look at wikipedia to update myself, I'm sure I'll find out all the updates redesignations and relocations on there.

Hello LB,

Waste of time asking me the colour of the gate, could not even tell you the colour of a certain boat house. :)

Could never understand what the point was in having a boat house at that particular location anyway.
Apart from being used by weekend 'sailors'.

Well ain't wiki great?

The London Irish Rifles (TA) moved to Camberwell in 2000. I don't know if their associated ACF moved with them.

10 Para were disbanded 1999. When I left the UK in 1990, D Sqn 21 were in Aldermaston.

Well done Rover!!

As usual - straight down to the nitty gritty!!

That should put off all those wannabees!! (and has beens like you and me!!)

I think I only went to the DOY place once - and it was probably in a bit of a haze!

Nice to hear from you. Give us a ring!
