Just basic photos of a sapper helocasting. Basically the helo flies in.... you hop out, helo takes off, and you swim to shore. It is nothing more than a way to "quickly and covertly" get to your objective.

That poor old Sapper must have a lousy pilot! Through him out from about thirty feet!!
I'd have wanted a parachute from that height!!

Dwarfy's picture looks very much like the view out of the back of a RAF Hercules during a "water jump" session. I believe parachutes were used!!

Since when has jumping off a bridge (presumably into a river) been considered an adventurous training activity? What possible purpose could it serve? Last time I looked, adventurous training included mounatineering, rock climbing, ice climbing, sailing, caving, windsurfing, and paragliding, etc.
