It's a wind up, check out the web address. The Times' website is www.timesonline.co.uk NOT timesnewsonline.co.uk

Oh and RM_Goingtobe as for your second link, I feel there's just a couple of things I should point out to you:
Lieutenant Colonel Hardly-Worthitt CBE of the Parachute Regiment states..........
His Royal Navy counterpart and head of Royal Navy media ops Commander U.P Hill-Gardener stated.............
That today's date is highly important as it coincides with the.......

It is not yet known what will happen to the elite RAF Regiment who are being rumored to take control of the training and development of both the Royal Marines and Parachute Regiment recruits.

Neither are you. We could have had a great deal of fun with the gullible young lads on here. I can see it now, Stokey writing a letter to his MP, getting on to the Wherever-he-lives Gazette, it could have been wonderful. But no. You spoilt it. You're like the guy who tells kids there's no tooth fairy.

haha thats quite funny. i rung my best mate at CTCRM. and told him the place was going to be closed down due to 'MOD CUT BACKS'. and he basically crapped himself. telling his troop about it. i found it quite amusing when i found out my self it was a joke. because he never knew.

I do wonder where someone with the name Stokey could live :-? :P

I have to admit it was a fairly decent job... had it not have been April the 1st and had I not just read that awful attempt by the admin to trick us the BBC had brought the site, I may have been more inclined to believe it.

I'm afraid MFAT tricksters you’re standards have dropped in the way of April fools jokes... last years was a cracker, when you came to the main page you got a notice saying the site was being shut down (or something along those lines). Got me good and proper

I've wised up since then, you have to be up earlier than that to catch me out :D

Better luck next year people

Stokey

P.S.
We could have had a great deal of fun with the gullible young lads on here.
Watch how you word you’re self on a internet forum as in the eyes of some that comment could be viewed as not only disturbing but also extremely immoral (In so many ways) :P
