Interval Training On Treadmill
Interval Training On Treadmill
Anyone follow a program they could recommend?
I do HOC (High Octane Cardio) on a treadmill sometimes. Goes like this:
1min jogging, 10 pressups
1min jogging, 9 pressups
1min jogging, 8 pressups
c@#t I've done 10mins jogging and 55 pressups
Then after a short rest I do exactly the same on the bike.
I know it's not really interval training, but hope that helped anyway.

Yep if it varies its usually called a pyramid workout if it stays the same its interval, but thats just because people choose to call them that, they both do the same thing, intervals mor efor people like me who start to get confused with so many different numbers ''should I be doing 30 walk or 40 walk; or is 25 run; or is it 60 run; no wait could be 90 walk!''
On the treadmill try keeping the speed the same and varying the incline. Get to a speed that you can just about talk at, then stick the incline up to a high figure like 10 say, and stick there for 1 minute, then back to 3 for a minute, then up, then down and so on. Its an absolute killer!
