how do you decide what troop you want to be in? thats if you even make it in

You can specify an entry date with your AFCO. New intake every two weeks.

Apparantly they've cut the intake down to a new troop every four weeks now due to lack of numbers. The PRMC's look pretty low on numbers too. I think Afghan's putting people off.

Wow. Cheers for that, bloody hell thats quite mad.

Talking a mate of mine Lympstone who passed out just before Xmas. He's being trained up on .50 cal. Says since passing out he goes drinking with his old troop Sgt lol how things change. :lol:

you can't choose your troop in training, unless you really want to be backtrooped, which is something no one should have to ever do.

Hankins, were you ever in K block? I am floor 2 of K block and saw Hankins on the ground floor door during the early weeks of phase 1 training. Just wondered.

Lots of blokes dropping out and not making it through. The Commandos are always short of blokes.
