Cheers for the reply mate, To be quite honest im not in the process at all yet, ive been trying to get in touch with my local AFCO but its been a bank holiday weekend and there's been no answer today, anyway, as far as run times etc are concerned........sit ups=83 in 2 mins, push ups=45 in 2 mins, pull ups=7 but the running needs alotta work, just done my first run tonight 1.5 miles in 14 mins.
Now.........i know that i gotta shave alot of minutes off the mile n half.....and i will, and i also know that im cutting it fine on the time front too but i reckon i can do this.......im gonna keep pushin hard and hope my fitness levels increase quickly and hope i get through the initial interviews and medicals nice and fast, hopefully get a quick PRMC start date and as long as PRMC passed, commando training date and start............all in 7 months (33 on the 29th Nov !!!!!!)
Be honest..........im i livin in f***in' cuckoo street or do you think its do'able !!!!!
Let me know mate. Any input is much appreciated, gotta keep my feet on the ground and be realistic ya know !!!!

Your running will cut in half quite quickly, upperbody strength tends to take time to progress, and you seem to have that in the bag.
Best results I got were from doing five 70% effort runs a week, keep that going for about 2 weeks, then start throwing in sprint runs over 1.5 miles instead of your other runs. It will really cut down your time.
The only problem with this is getting back into distance runs can take its toll on you for the first few runs - this is due to the fact you are now running at a faster pace.
Should get you to where you need to be definately before your deadline.
Best of luck mate =)

Yea good determination mate! Just remember :-
Dont let any nobbers at your local pub try and put you off, they are jealous, fat, lazy and not worth your time.
Dont be scared to rush your afco. Let me know how you go. Any q's pm me, i have lots of experience of the recruiting process.
