DVD REF MAKING A RM OFFICER LIST SO FAR

Post by Artist »

I now have 12 copies all ready to despatch.

Image

Here are the names of the people who have asked via PM for a copy:

1. euro-andrew
2. jay999
3. DANTAE
4. james m
5. jonno2006
6. Howardbliss
7. chris.

Other people have asked on the thread but I am sticking to people who have PM'd me after the 1st of Jan like I asked them to do.

Doug if you are reading this you will get the DVD you first sent me plus a first generation copy taken from an original Video Tape of the programme. Problem is the DVD is at this time doing the rounds of Crewe and Nantwich because I lent it to a lad who's parents are mates of mine, and the buggers let me down.

Anway this means their are five Two Disc DVD's left for people to claim. So what I need to know is this:
Your Name and Address via a PM, do not give out your address over the open forum. Just please donate a fiver to the Royal Marine Association. I will now watch and shoot.

Hi, thanks Artist. I've jst joined here, but have been lurking for about a year! :P

I was wondering if any more of this enlightening (and poignant**) DVD is to be distributed? Either from your good self or prehaps others who have already confirmed a copy could er...well copy some extras - naturally the donations mentioned previous would still apply. (£5 etc) Can anybody plz help?

Cheers

**i read in another post that sadly one of the YOs died on exercise many years later, but could be mistaken...

9. mitch
10. mithc boxing

12. ramz56

They were first to PM so are the ones getting them. If any of the blokes who do recieve the DVD's have the facility to run of further DVD's more the better as then other blokes can get copies via them.

I will contact me Oppo and see if he can wack out some more for me ok?

Don't forget if you want a copy I need and address to send them to.

Here is the website giving you the info ref making a donation people.

http://www.royalmarinesassociation.org.uk/howtohelp.htm

Here's the Address and telephone number for the Central office.

Tel: 023 9265 1519
Fax: 023 9254 7207

RMA Central Office,
Building 32,
Whale Island,
Portsmouth,
Hants,
PO2 8ER

E-mail: chiefexec@rma.org.u

Just make out a cheque to the RMA and sent it to the above address. OK?

As I said before if any of the 12 named blokes can run off DVD's then make it known to those who have not been named. I'm going to ask me Oppo if he can wack out some more as the amount of interest was a wee bit more than I anticipated to say the least! :D

Likewise, if one of the lads who's getting a copy can do a few to save Artist doing all the work I'd appreciate one, costs and donation obviously.

Aiiiye cheers Artist, thanks for getting all this together - cant wait to watch it !!

And yes, if any of you others would be kind enough to knock a few off, it would be much appreciated by all of us, cheers fellas.
Donations etc still apply who ever does it. Ok.

I've just thought of something (there's a novelty  ) why doesn't some body uploaded it too google video but only do it once a certain number of donations have been recieved ?? That way the guys who have theirs can sit back and relax and people like Artist and other wont have to keep copying new versions... Sounds good, yes ? - the end results are the same with alot less headache and stress.

What do you guys think ?

I know quite a few of you are youngsters so a postal order should do just as well. Just go into the post office and buy one, and make it out to the RMA. Ok?

I think the upload idea was rejected by most to keep it as an "in thing". That way everybody getting to watch it has paid their donation, rather than people from elsewhere finding it in the next few months and getting it without helping.
