Ok this has afew things in it guys, firsty i have had shin splints coming and going and nothing seemed to work off any of them website. My dad ex-forces and an Ironman Triathlete comes to me afew weeks ago and say right, there is one simple excercise that will sort you out.
What you do, is lean against a wall with your back facing the wall. Then simply lift your feet up from the floor so only the backs of your feet are touching the floor. After five minutes of lifting and dropping you will feel it really hurting in your shins, its the muscles strenthening. I did it to a beat of a song (Put your hands up for detroit) I swear to you after a week i could run, pound my feet into the concrete and no problems. Do at least a workout for 5 minutes in the morning and before you go to bed and i have no doubt in my mind this will cure you.
SOOO SIMPLE YET WORKS!!!
Tell me how it goes for you or PM me for any help.
Next on the agenda I HAVE FINALLY GOT A JOINING DATE!!!!!
22nd January, please PM me if any of you are going to be on this rt starting date.
I went to my docter a week ago and the silly cow wouldnt get me a toncilectamy. So i went to a different Docter. Told him im on the waiting list to get my toncils out (as you know ive had 5 cases of toncilitis since may this year). He said right, Royal Marines Commandos you need them out. The amount of respect this guy gave me for going into the marines was unheard of. He personally sent a letter to Luton hospital and within 4 days he had shifted my tonciletamy date to last Monday. I was shocked, the surgeon who agreed to the surgery was ex forces, and said he agreed that i wasnt some waster and that im trying to make somthing out of life so took a personal interest in my case i believe.
I thought the NHS was shite, but thanks to a little care i now have them out. Already feel amazing even though my throat is completely rough and mucky but the idea that when i thought i was feeling good i was only feeling ok and now that there out im on top of the world.
I have to wait a week before i can train again but i cant wait to see the surge in fitness now that my body doesnt havea 24/7 fight with the infection.
Nothing stopping me now lads im on top of the world and surging to get into RT!!!!!

Tried this method out and let me just say this 'MY GOD THE PAIN!!!'
after 5 minutes my legs were on fire, i decided to try something a tad different tho.
I pointed my toes inwards for 5 minutes and did the exercise and the out, and then forwards. So a total of 15min.
Now the way I was doing them was with my back against the wall and feet about 1ft away from the skirting of the wall. Is this the same way you did it? I was going to try leading back the 'falling' against the wall or stand up straight and just raise the front of my feet. Not sure which technique is correct.
Cheers
