What is training life at Catterick like?

Hey all,Just wondering if anyone would share their opinions on what life at Catterick is like as i am applying for the CIC 24 week infantry course so thats a fair amount of time to spend there,whats the atmosphere like between everyone? sleeping arrangements or how is that done? etc, or anything else you might wanna add,many thanks :D

herd the mile and a halfs a killer cos its all uphill (so iv herd)

I didnt like catterick the attmosphere was bloody horrible.

iv = I've

cos = because

realy = really.

just everythin thats on the kit list i think

note: where it says trunks..you can wear swimmin shorts apparently

takin my psp , might take my laptop after the 1st 6 weeks.

are you takin anythin extra with ya?

whell i havent got a kit list yet lol :lol:

but im thinking of bringing an iron been told there very useful
but was reading this yesterday

you should get ya joining instructions once you do your allegiance


let us know what training battalion ya in mate.. i'm in the 2nd kings coy.

deffo an iron yeah, ironin board you can buy there.. plus you'll look a tit on the train carryin it :lol:

the dates are as follows..

intake CIC 06.14 , 5th Nov.

Parents open day - 2nd December

First leave - 22nd December - 7th Jan (nice chrimbo that)

Passing out parade - 4th May 2007
