Ive seen a few now with the ickle red cross

My seems to be ok, but then its an offsite link avatar.

I think there are image limits if you upload direct from your PC. Try going and registering with http://www.Photobucket.com (its free) then submitting the pic you want to use to that.

Once its in open it.

Once its opened within photobucket, right click it and another box comes up.

In this box goto the address line and copy it

Now paste this line into the profile section on here that says "link to offsite...."

Submit and it should show.

If you right click on my avatar you will see the address link is within photobucket

Any snags then ask someone elses as the snookers on!

Quite shocked to see Doc being so technical to be honest.

If you need another image hoster, www.imageshack.us does the trick pretty well. That's what I host my stuff on.

Got the same prob.
Even my original Avatar will not load.
Get the same message everytime.
Which is why I just don't bother.
Photobucket seems to work for those in Europe,
But here,Forget it.
Some smartass is going to gainsay me on this and then send instructions.
Heads Up...
Don't waste your time.
Even phots won't work.
Tried it all.

i used imageshack.us like rich to get mine working, you dont have to register or anything just upload from your machine and save the link that it gives you, it will also resize it for you to avatar size to go on forums
