Paid my ten bucks Doc and rarely post. Consider it getting my moneys worth.
Plus it's the most interresting thing I've seen on community forums in a long time. I can delete it in an hour if you like.

I've said it before, even mentioned it on CW's site... The owners of a forum have the power... We as subscribers decide if we can "live with" their terms... They as "landlords" decide if they can live with or without us, whatever the case may be...

Perhaps the demands on Whitey and Machine (I equate it to political statements forced on PWs, in cyberworld terms) maybe more than their pride can stand... More important, why go back with your hat in your hands making promises that you don't intend to honor given the same situation.

I made my suggestion to Chris in Whitey's thread... See what he has to say..

This reference to a "Board of Directors" has my spider senses acting up... a "Board of Directors" is a faceless entity that enforcers can allude to when doling out their "justice" and "policies"... I want a name to go along with rules so I know who's desk to pound on when i don't like something...

Screw hurt feelings... I'm not worried about that... We all put out our own justice in the community and check each other.. If this "Board of Directors" doesn't like the direction that the forum is going then he or she needs to start contributing to the conversation... That or shut the board down... Guys like LM or Taliban Pete want to join in, fine, but their feelings are going to get hurt..

Okay, SFTT folks, how about our own site? We can do it. Afi brings up a good point, well several. What do you guys want to do?
We could have a forum of our own, some blogs for you Oscar Wildes.

What do you all want to do?
That hat in hand will be real hard for me, and you know I'll say something eventually, and LM will be back and like Afi says the board of directors is just over the top.
We could do everything we have been and better, focused on our own. We got Monica and Clock who are net gurus.
Tell me. We have a lot of options here and the suggestions are suprising and optomistic.
We could do all this on our own.

Stix just suggested this. What do you all think?
Our own place, we make the rules. You could be mods, set the pace, our own place.

Well, and I'll try not to sound sappy, so don't you f@*%kers start laughing, it's been a hell of a long time since I have met or known anyone that I'd call a friend. The word friend has a very specific meaning to me, iron sharpening iron so to speak. Whitey you ever wonder why you wandered over to that site you found me? I think a lot of Divine Providence, and I reckon that's how you found me over there. There was a few people I'd talk to, but no one I'd trust to cover my six, save fer maybe Eyeball. I still browse over there time to time, and that red rope seems to be getting a bit more real. You know he's a SC rebel? He's gettin kinda sick of the hitler kids too, but I wouldn't invite him anywhere else without yer opinion.
Rambling on, I'd like to say that if y'all start up another site, I'll be there. I'll stroll back over to SFTT to thank those that stood. I know how to deal with numbnuts like Lumpy, I just got passionate about arguing with a fence post. Ignoring an attention whore is the best policy, and I reckon he'll never get so much as a bird fanger from me anymore.
Whitey, your words mean a lot. I appreciate the friendship of you fellers, and ladies too. I reckon I'm more of a leave me alone type, but the right kinds of associates bring out even the most introverted. Some for the better, some for the worst. You fellers are the best.
Alright, wipe those friggin shiite eatin grins off yer faces, I'm done with the love.

Any chance one of you mothers would respond to my posts or even say Hi?
Or are you getting so far up you`re arses that nothing else matters?
We are a forum for farks sake, not a substitute for wherever y`all came from.
It`s getting a tad repetitive, don`t you think?
We do.

Sorry Harry...

That was pretty disprespectful of us (me) ...

Thanks for the hospitality... I have been lurking off and on for several months and like your site..

I was in Perth (actually docked in Freemantle) several years ago when i was in the Marines... Nice town y'all go there... I will say though, the my absolute WORST time in the field was on your island.. Froze my cajones off for four days straight...

I promised myself that I would return on vacation to visit on my own terms and really check out your country side... But like with most promises to oneself, I haven't fulfilled it yet...

Thanks again for the hospitality.
