I`ve my interview in April.
Sorry,I`ll say again no offence was intended to anyone in the PDF,the questions were taken up the wrong way-I was`nt saying everyone was thick, just alot of people said it to me it would`nt be the place where
you`d find Einstein`s.
Obviously they`re wrong. It`s a non issue for me.

Private Message.... a bit like email but it isn't.

You can send a message to somebody and it ends up in their inbox.

Just like the one you'll get in a minute.

I would`nt say there`d be a problem anyone joining from Nor Iron,once
you`re not the King Billy la la antagonistic type ,you get alot of them down with a real attitude problem but people don`t bother with them ,but what the hell are they doing down here if they hate the place??

Aaaaaagh More Walters!

Perhaps the Moderators could put a 'stamp' across the posts of certain contributors.

People like Bird/future?? and Padre could be labelled POW (Potentially Outrageous Walter) so that others would be less inclined to waste their time with them when they crave attention and make up something new.

I would happily start a super elite force of Walter Spotters. We would be ever so secret, popping up only when such phonies began to get attention.

So that's settled then; I will be the Lt. Col of the Special Walter Spotting Service. Applications on a postcard (encrypted into The Times crossword) and I will reply via the classifieds of Private Eye....In Hungarian....

And no Padre, you can't join.

I've been reasearching the FFL for couple of years now. I'm planning to join in December (the best time of the year to join).

What does it take to get in:

physical shape (cooper test minimum 3km in 21min, climbing 30 feet rope hands only, etc), nothing unhuman, just high endurance and strength as in any other SF unit. good sight, hearing, teeth, etc... if you've done LASIK surgery (like I did), you must wait a year before joining. you dont need the map reading, orientation, marching etc like the SAS. you'll learn all that if you get in.

forget about being mormon, you must be ready to be a Legionnare and nothing else. no special cases. dont even mention it in the interview. also dont mention the depression. no way in hell will the recruitmen office let you in with a depresion history.

must have a convincing story why you want to join. they are looking for career soldiers, someone who wants to make a vocation out being a Legionnare. not someone who doesnt know what to do with him self and decided to join the FFL.

no criminal records, no married people.

sorry if i;m being presumptious, but you dont seem 100% dedicated for the FFL. its doesnt seem as if it's been you life wish forever. if you by any chance get in, and then see that's not for you, you'll be in deep shit. think well.
