I've been studying the various units of the UK the past....
few days. I really am impressed overall with the quality and quantity of training UK units receive. It's also my understanding you are paid well. If only I were a young man again. I would have to move overseas. I find the Para Regiment to be very attractive for many reasons but mostly for the training and emphasis on physical fitness. I am a third Irish so I think I could fit in.

There are quite a number of Paddies in the Para's, and I was happy to serve along side of them

I served under a paddy and he was sooo chilled out and relaxed it was unbelievable until he got in a bad mood. Jesus the bloke went off on one like he had a firecracker up his a*rse.
