Hi all, i need some help im trying to find out what the one on the right is for as my other half is trying to work it out, his dad was in the royal signals corps back in WW2 and served in India we were just wondering what the horse is as the signals badge as its totally different and this is what he has on his headstone, iv searched the internet for days on end and this is the closet picture iv found so if anyone has any information its greatly appreciated.

It looks like Pegasus so it would/could be to do with Para Regt (as per the badge at the back), it could be he was Para Sigs? I'd suggest putting this on the Para Forum.

I moved this here as Timex rightly says you will probably get more help on this forum.
Have you tried contacting the Parachute Regimental Association?

That Pegasus looks different somehow.Possibly just an older version.

Now with just a Pegasus it would mean that he sereved with the Airborne Forces most likely in the Gliders. Had been a Paratrooper from the signals he would have had his wings there as well

Thanks everyone, well i thought the same signals para as his dad was given a tin with the pegasus on one side and the para sign on the other side which he had made out in india
