Help for some book research

Post by mikie_elkins »

Hi

I am really looking for some help with regard to a book I am in the process of researching.

I am looking in to crime investigation in Belgium during the great War. Specifically, how crimes committed by Allied Soldiers were investigated, and who by. By carrying out my own investigations I have a fair understanding of the RMP structure during the time but really struggling to find anything on the processes of investigation.

Any content I produce must be completely accurate so the research will be very extensive and any help you can offer would be hugley appreciated.

Thanks

Mike

Many of the soldiers did not have much time to commit a crime. You were escorted to the trenches and if you lived long enough to get a break then you were taken to a rear area where you could relax for a while, but were you went and what you could do was strictly controlled. Military police were all over the place looking for soldiers who might be trying to get home or going over the wall.
