ITV4 War Season starting Saturday 21st March

Well I have just seen a ad for a war season on ITV4 starting this comming Saturday. Anyway I thought i'd try and list the programs that will be showing:


Saturday 21st-

D-Day in colour, 2100 hours (9pm)

The Dear Hunter film, 2200 hours (10pm)


Sunday 22nd-

SAS: Soldiers Story, 2030 hours (8.30pm)

Commando: On the Front Line, 2100 hours (9pm)

In Enemy Country film, 2205 hours (10.05pm)


Monday 23rd-

Doctors and Nurses at war, 2100 hours (9pm)

Andy McNab's Tour of Duty, 2200 Hours (10pm)


Tuesday 24th-

Cross of Iron film, 2210 hours (10.10pm)

In Enemy Country film, 2205 hours (10.05pm) REPEAT


Wednesday 25th-

Murphys War film, 2205 hours (10.05pm)

Cross of Iron film, 2210 hours (10.10pm) REPEAT


Thursday 26th-

Nothing on


Thats all I can find although they maybe more on the Friday.

Good stuff. Bit dissapointed to be honest. From the clip ITV showed it looked all about Iraq and Afghanistan but obviously not :(. The only one that looks good which I hav'nt seen before is the Doctors and Nurses of War thats about Afghan.

I seen the advert to, did look pretty good. Since "Comando : On the front line" is a number of epiosodes do you think that means that this "war season" is going to be lasting a while then?

I'd hope so...

Sadly I think this war season is not what I was hoping for though...no new programes :(

No its not great, I hav'nt seen that Doctors and Nurses thing before though. But was expecting some new footage from out on the front line.

Infairness though if its on ITV4 then we shouldn't ave really got our hopes up....there's got to me new fottage on one of the channels soon i'd say following the success of Ross Kemp Returns to Afgan!
