My mother divorced my old man after being married to him throughout his 22 year service. However, now he is remarried his pension will go to his second wife. As you may guess this does not please my mother :bad-words: .

"If" you die - ? - Awesome - Your squad has a choice then ?

:D You may find that your first wife has a real claim on part of your
pension - but don't worry about it until you've checked it out.

It all depends on whether she has 'contributed' to your pension
earnings and only legal help will probably sort it out.

Murphy's Law and Catch 22 will kick in if you contact the DWP -
contact a citizens advice desk at your local council - by 'phone !

Good luck !

Whoa - not that I'm an expert - but - is this connected to child
maintenance ? The age of the children would play in here .....

What type of 'pension' are we talking about ? And why the 'share' ?

Use pm if you prefer .....

Hi Chaps, looking at divorce and understand my wife[to be x] will be entitled to a % of my medical pension however, my understanding is she won't receive that % until she reaches pensionable age, am I correct and if so is it in any official documentation. Thanks in advance
