Hello all,
First, great website.Knockout.
Whilst serving with the Army (RASC/RCT)in Aden we made a lot of friends from the men of 45 Cdo. in Little Aden.'64/'66/'67
If anyone reads this and has any idea of the whereabouts of the following I would ask them to pass this plea on.
Cpl. Charlie Turnbull, RMs Dave Field, Charlie Robertson, 'Scouse' Manhood, Cpl. Johnny Lacey and the restof the lads who were lumbered as 'Defence Platoon'at Bde. HQ Falaise. (Cushiest time they ever had)
If your out there lads, and you remember Tom and Dianne Jones from the MT at 24 Bde. we'd love you to get in touch.
Incidentally, who is or was, RM 19594 R. Fortune? I've still got an old wooden coat -hanger with your name on it and I haven't a clue as to how I came by it; it's been a mystery for thirty five years.
Hope life has treated you all decently.

Alright mate, don't suppose any of them were called Edward "Ted" Merryweather? Bit of a shot in the dark, just looking for information on my uncle who was a Royal Marine, he was born in 1930 so could have been there chronologically. Cheers.
