RM Training

Post by varsity »

Hi there.

I am considering a career in the Navy and have 2 things that interest me mainly. Navy Diver and the Royal Marines.

I have gotten alot of details about being a diver but I am looking for more info regarding the Marines.
Can anyone who has been a Marine give me some examples of the level of fitness needed to join?

Ideally something along these lines...

"I joined the Marines, pissed all over the test because I trained to be able to run x miles, carrying x amount of weight. I could do x amount of press-ups/sit-ups/pull-ups in Y amount of time. I weighted This much and am blond"

other than the blond bit...

Im looking to find a level of fitness to get before I go down to the careers office and get myself booked on the admissions tests.
